Created on the northern Baltic coast of Rügen and in Berlin, this membrane recalls the Balzer families, whose self‑built catamaran made from two Kolibri folding boats was recovered as wreckage in the net of a GDR trawler. All five individuals drowned during their 1979 escape attempt from the GDR; not all bodies were recovered.
